The sense of hospitality envisioned by the founder feels as though it has remained imprinted within the walls of this ancient hamlet, so much so that it has become an unwritten rule for the owners of La Rosa del Colle. Guests of the farmhouse resort (agriturismo) will truly feel at home. They will have full access to the house's libraries and lounges, where a cozy fireplace will always be lit during the winter months. The day will begin with a rich breakfast featuring homemade cakes, as well as honey and kefir produced right here on our farm. In the evening, upon request, you can enjoy a bottle of Verdicchio di Matelica or a Marche red wine for an aperitif or an after-dinner drink, to be savored as a couple or in the company of other guests.

The relaunch of our farm could only begin from the fields surrounding the small hamlet of Colle di Brescia.
It is here that in 2023, across just under a hectare of land, we planted seven varieties of aromatic herbs: winter savory, oregano, hyssop, thyme, lavender, rosemary, and helichrysum. The sheer force of nature, which is particularly vigorous around the springs of the Potenza river, combined with the progressive abandonment of the surrounding land, caused quite a few challenges with wild weeds, but in the end, our plants prevailed. We carried out our first extractions of lavender and thyme essential oils in the summer of 2025. This year, helichrysum and rosemary will be added to the harvest. With our lavender and thyme essential oils, we produce liquid soap, shampoo, body wash, and body lotion, which guests of our farmhouse resort (agriturismo) will find in their room bathrooms. Once upon a time, there was a building that housed stables, warehouses, and a hay barn. It was the beating heart of the farm. Over time, with a shifting and, above all, much smaller production, these spaces lost their original function. And so, the idea was born to convert these spaces into a sort of cultural "factory"—a place where people can practice theater, dance, make music, present a book, or simply watch a movie together, even in an isolated area like the Springs of the Potenza. The two multi-purpose rooms, featuring elegant hardwood floors, will be able to host a wide range of activities: from theater and dance to Qigong and Pilates, as well as exhibitions, debates, and conferences.

Work is still underway, but in the meantime, the Teatro della Rosa has already hosted a group of artists-in-residence from nearby Bagnara.

The freedom to discover the Upper Macerata area (Alto Maceratese) and its Umbrian borders will be a tangible reality for guests at La Rosa del Colle. You can rent six e-mountain bikes (pedal-assist) from us, featuring a battery range of up to one hundred kilometers. This means that not only the Springs of the Potenza area, neighboring villages like Pioraco and Sefro, and the surrounding mountains will be just a pedal away, but you can also easily reach towns such as Camerino, Matelica, and Fabriano—as well as Nocera Umbra or the Colfiorito nature reserve on the other side of the regional border.
