Once upon a time, there was a building that housed stables, warehouses, and a hay barn. It was the beating heart of the farm. Over time, with a shifting and, above all, much smaller production, these spaces lost their original function. And so, the idea was born to convert these spaces into a sort of cultural “factory”—a place where people can practice theater, dance, make music, present a book, or simply watch a movie together, even in an isolated area like the Springs of the Potenza. The two multi-purpose rooms, featuring elegant hardwood floors, will be able to host a wide range of activities: from theater and dance to Qigong and Pilates, as well as exhibitions, debates, and conferences.
Work is still underway, but in the meantime, the Teatro della Rosa has already hosted a group of artists-in-residence from nearby Bagnara.

THE CLOWN AND THE ART OF MAKING PEOPLE LAUGH: A RESIDENTIAL WORKSHOP IN NATURE
led by Fiora Blasi—a former student of the legendary Jacques Lecoq and a highly experienced actress and writer. The workshop is open to anyone who loves clowns and wants to dive deep… actors and actresses wishing to experience this art, musicians, dancers, circus performers, as well as non-professionals passionate about artistic practices.
Participants will work in the studio but also among the rows of aromatic herbs, where Fiora’s students might stumble into agricultural activities, discovering that clowns and farmers share both wonder and failure: the wonder of discovery and the acceptance of defeat.

The farmstay offers a total of 11 beds, divided into three double rooms, one family room for a couple with two children, and one single room.

The price for a full day is 40 euros; for a half-day, 25 euros. A security deposit by credit card is required. Special rates are available for agritourism guests.
